Are You Selling a Home?

Sell with clarity,move with confidence.

Every seller wants the same thing: the best price, as quickly and smoothly as possible. Here’s how Chris makes that happen.

The Selling Process

A proven plan for your best result.

  1. 01

    Clarify why you’re moving

Too few rooms, or too many? A new job, a growing family, an aging parent? A clear picture of your goals sets the foundation for the sale and your next purchase.

  2. 02

    Choose your timing

The best time to sell is usually when your home no longer meets your needs. Seasons, school years and interest rates all play a part, and Chris will help you weigh them.

  3. 03

    Price it right

Your BC Assessment is a snapshot from last July, not today’s market value. Chris prepares a detailed comparative market analysis using recent sales on your street and in your building.

  4. 04

    Prepare to impress

Small, strategic improvements make a big difference to buyers. Chris’s renovation experience helps you focus on the work that pays for itself.

    • Decluttering and staging guidance
    • Trusted trades for touch-ups and repairs
    • Pre-listing inspection when it adds confidence
  5. 05

    Market it beautifully

It takes more than a lawn sign. Your home is presented with professional photography, video, a dedicated feature sheet and outreach to Chris’s network of agents and buyers.

  6. 06

    Negotiate with confidence

Chris has sold homes with multiple offers in a single afternoon. He manages every showing, offer and counter-offer to get you the strongest result.

  7. 07

    Close smoothly

From subject removal to completion day, Chris coordinates with lawyers, lenders and buyers so you can focus on your move.

Buy or Sell First?

That’s tricky.

Sell first and you may be living out of a suitcase if closing dates don’t line up. Buy first and you may carry two mortgages for a time. There are ways to protect yourself either way.

  1. 01

    Do your homework

Know the neighbourhood and type of home you want, and make an honest evaluation of your family’s needs and budget. Start your search as soon as your home hits the market.

  2. 02

    Found a home first?

Make your offer subject to the “sale of your existing home” for a fixed period. Vendors often resist this condition, and it can cost you negotiating power on price.

  3. 03

    Found a buyer first?

Sign back their offer subject to the “purchase of a new home” for a fixed period. As a buyer with a sold house, you’ll be in a stronger position to negotiate.

Client Stories

Chris sold our first condo in a matter of hours. With one open house he generated so much buzz that he brought us multiple buyers in a single afternoon, then expertly led us through the negotiation. By the next day it had sold for more than we anticipated.
